Comics - Freaky Dancing

Freaky Dancing was an acid-house inspired comic fanzine I co-created in the late 1980s, centred around Manchester's legendary Hacienda nightclub.

The 'zine ran for 11 issues, mostly given out free to people queuing up to get in the nightclub. In 2019 we released a remastered collection of the complete run of the fanzine, in association with The Quietus website, available on Amazon.

I drew a new three page strip for the collection, as well as designing the whole book, creating a new cover and poster, and digging out loads of never-before-seen archive material.
