Illustration - Deg

I was asked by writer Pat Garratt to create a series of illustrations for his debut novel Deg. The book had 11 chapters and I created a dense, full page black and white illustration for each chapter. The book is written in a sort of cut-up, stream of consciousness style, and I tried to reflect this in the illustrations.

I cut out part of the Chapter 1 illustration, coloured it a little, and offered it to the publisher for use as the cover.
