Logo - Bezier

I was commissioned to re-work the logo for the twin-stick shooter video game Bezier for a Switch version, entitled Bezier Second Edition. My finished logo is not that much different to the original, but hopefully improved a little. I also worked on the background for the eShop icon.

This is the original logo from the PC game, designed by the programmer, from development of Second Edition. I made some small tweaks to the font (such as E and Z horizontals lining up better).

My original sketches for ideas that were more different from the PC version, evocative of 80s arcade games which was the client's brief.

A couple of ideas for a background design for the icon. The one of the left (which we went with) was closer to the in-game shader effect used on the game's title screen.

I went through lots of colour mockups of the different logo ideas and background designs. I still like the spiral background. I will have to use it elsewhere one day.
